Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Every Season Busch Gardens Virginia schedules some phenomenal concert and great special programs. Highlighted below are the concerts and special program that have been announced for the 2008 season.

These are all available with a seasons pass as well as a daily admission ticket.

April 19-20, 26-27

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is known for the beautiful flowers and gardens.

During these two weekends you can

  • Take a tour of Busch Gardens Virginia's world class greenhouse
  • Learn about the Kingmill Tulip
  • Tour the gardens of Italy
  • Learn Landscaping tips from the Busch Gardens Experts
  • Get tips on turning your backyard into a natural habitat for animal from the National Wildlife Federation
  • Do fun craft activities with your children.

    Some of the tours have limited availability. Call Busch Gardens reservations at (800) 343-7946. Reservations are required for the two tours.

    Glory at the Gardens

    May 4,11 & 18th

    This inspiring concert series features eleven chart-topping contemporary Christian bands.

  • May 4th- Third Day and Matthew West will perform.

  • May 11th - Natalie Grant The Relentless Tour with special guests Jimmy Needham and Monk & Neagle, Mark Schultz and Big Daddy Weave

  • May 18th - Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, Building 429, This Beautiful Republic.

    Wild Days

    May 31-June 1, June 7-8

  • May 31-June 1st - interact with Julie Scardina and Ginny Busch and their animal friends. During Wild Days the whole family will have the opportunity to interact with animals from around the world. These world-renowned wildlife conservationists will also teach your family what you can do to help protect animals and their natural habitat.

  • June 7-8 will be Jack Hanna's weekend to share his animals and wealth of knowledge.
    July 1st-4th- Don't miss the spectacular

    "Fireworks Extravaganza"

    show that will end the evening with a BANG. This is an outstanding show.

    Summer Concert series

    This is a great concert series included in the cost of your ticket. There are usually two shows a day. The times are posted as you enter the park but they are most often in the evening.

  • July 19,20 - Rick Springfield live in Concert

  • July 26,27- Grand Funk Railroad Live in Concert

  • August 2,3 - The Charlie Daniels Band Live in Concert

  • August 9, 10 - The Guess Who Live in Concert

  • August 16, 17 - Peter Frampton Live in Concert

    Sock Hop Nights

    These concerts are for old an young who are craving the oldies! The kids love dancing to this music. You won't be disappointed.

  • August 23,24 - Chubby Checker Live in Concert

  • August 30-31 - The Four Tops in Concert

    Bud and BBQ Festival

    Sept 6-7& 13,14

    This festival focuses on beer(Anheuser Busch products),smokin' hot BBQ and music. The performers have not yet been announced but A good time will be had by all.

    Howl-O-Scream

    Busch Gardens Virginia does a great job putting on special events and concerts. All of the activities are included in the cost of admission and if you are visiting the park on the day of a special event make sure you check it out.
